We received the initial pathology report today. The pathologists have an early indication of what it is, however we are sending the sample to MD Anderson for confirmation on the leanings of the Vista team. I am being vague intentional because we still have to meet with the pathologists as well as with the oncologists.
Earlier in this blog I believe I may have indicated that they weren't sure if it was benign or malignant. It is in in fact cancerous. We are just waiting to definitively confirm what level of cancer it is.
Once we figure out how we are going to attack this and what our next step is, I will let you all know.
I asked Karl if there was anything he would like to say to all his adoring fans. His response, "thank you so much for all the prayer and support."
Oh, and Sarah, the nurse is currently the "sixth man".
So here's a good one; two days ago the speech therapists asked Karl if he could remember three words. They are table, apple and penny. Karl is such a high achiever, he says these three words to every nurse that comes into the room. The speech therapists hasn't come back yet but when she does...lookout...

Ps I just decided that our family verse moving forward is Zephaniah 3:17. "He is might to save".
